"And my God will meet (all) your needs according to the riches of (his) glory in Christ Jesus."
Notice the word (all) our needs will be met. These are not just physical needs, but these are emotional and heartfelt needs as well. So many people turn to (other) things for comfort and safety but, the only 'One' that can give you complete comfort that lasts and fits your specific needs, is the Lord. "Do not be anxious about (anything), but in (every) situation, by [prayer] and [petition], with [thanksgiving], present your (requests) to God. Philippians 4:6 & 19 I love you all Memory verse for today... Psalm 91:14-16

The enemy you have attained off the witness of another.
When someone approaches you speaking bad about another, instead of responding, "That situation is between the two of you, alone." [Mathew 18:15] You come in (agreement) with them, just from what they told you. So, the conclusion of the matter is this, (Guard your heart) if someone is speaking against (anyone) and at the end, they do not suggest prayer, do (not) participate, no matter how juicy and interesting it may sound. Do not stay, go on your way, and the Lord will be pleased and reward you for your actions. Proverbs 4:23, which says, "Above (all) else, (guard) your heart, for (everything) you do (flows) from it". The day my LIFE changed, forever.
As I was growing up as a kid, especially from 13 years old to 15. Our church would regularly and faithfully have an Altar call. My mom kept telling me to go up, she could tell I was resisting the call. I wanted so much to go up and see the Lord, but I was too ashamed, I was too embarrassed. I thought it was a sign of weakness instead of humility. I had a battle within me every time they had an Altar call. I so much wanted to go up there, but I just couldn't do it. One Saturday evening in my room when I was 15 years old, I had my lights out, I was getting ready to go to bed and a woman on the radio was speaking as if she was talking directly to me. She asked would you like to receive the Lord as your personal savior? I spoke to her as if she was standing right next to me and said "yes I would". She said, do you believe that God the creator of Heaven and Earth sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins? I said "yes I do believe". She said, do you believe He rose again on the third day? I responded "I believe". The woman on the radio said, then you are now saved, for as the word says; with your mouth you confess, with your heart you believe(Romans 10:9-11). At that time, that very instant, I (knew) I was saved. There were absolutely no doubts in my heart. I ran to the kitchen and told my mom and she cried and hugged me. I told my mom I wasn't ready to share this, so please don't tell anyone, my mom promised she wouldn't. That Sunday morning my mom sang a solo, when she was done singing, she just stood there like she wanted to say something. I remember whispering, please Lord don't let her say nothing, she promised. Then my mom went to sit down and I said thank God. But, then my mom got right back up again. My mom said "I promised my son, I wouldn't tell anyone but, I'm overwhelmed with joy, Sean, received the Lord as his personal Savior last night. I couldn't believe it, she promised. I was so mad at her. But as I became a man, I understood. I would not come to the Lord, in public, so He decided to actually come after me. How wonderful is that? How great is that? Now, you might ask what brought all this on? I would love to tell you, last night I was watching a movie called 'THE FORGE,' in the movie the mother told her son, he should go to church so he could get to know the Lord. Her son replied, "why do I have to go to church, the Lord knows where I am, I'm right here, He can find me if he wants to." And then he received the Lord as his personal Savior in his room, and then I remembered, that's exactly what He did for me. I was trying to figure things out by myself and I realized I needed Jesus. Mom, if you're reading this, I don't know how many times you prayed for me, but thank you, I love you Mom. The righteous walk by faith not by sight...
When Jesus revealed Himself to Thomas, after He was raised from the dead and returned, Jesus told Thomas, that he was blessed for believing (after) he saw it for himself. However, Jesus said, those who believe in Him without physically seeing Him are the ones who are TRULY blessed. When difficulties come, you can't actually see God, yet you still believe in Him, based on His word and what you've already witnessed. This is the person God will surely (bless) but, you can't always see that right away either. This is why Faith is so important. Jesus said, it's (impossible) to please Him without faith. So, what's one of the first things Satan wants to hit you with? Doubt! "and (call) on me in the day of (trouble); I (will) (deliver) you, and you shall glorify me". Psalm 50:15 Faith of a child
(childlike Faith) When my daughter Bianca, was 6 years old, I took her to Toys r Us. She picked out a Barbie doll she wanted to buy. The problem was, my daughter only had $3 left from her allowance but, the Barbie doll cost about $15. My daughter walked straight up to the cashier, and 'boldly' laid the Barbie doll on the cashier counter along with her $3 and said "Please ensure you give me all my correct change back, Thank you!" The cashier looked up at me, and I slipped the cashier a $20 bill. My daughter received her doll (and) her change, just like she prophesied This is how our Heavenly Father works when we have great Faith in Him. We lack nothing, because He lacks nothing, would you like to know why? Because we share in His inheritance. The Lord will bless you when you come up short and He will always (give) you more (exceed) what you ask, because He loves you. "And God is able to make all grace abound to (you), so that having all sufficiency in (all) (things) at all (times), you may abound in every good work". 2 Corinthians 9:8 Do not place a period, where the Lord temporarily put a comma, and do not place a comma, where the Lord placed a period.
Isaiah 30:18: "Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you; therefore He exalts Himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who (wait) for Him". Genuine...
Be yourself, if you water yourself down to please others or to fit in or not offend anyone you lose your (identity). It's much easier to love yourself when you are being yourself. when you want to (please) people you tell them what they want to hear, When you want to (help) people, you tell them the truth....you choose! Please read Proverbs 12:17 I encourage you to take your week, a day at a time. Anything more than this, can be overwhelming. Trust the Lord, step by step, project by project, challenge to challenge. Call upon Him in (every) detail.
Do not freak out, or get discouraged when things don't work out (right away). This is when your Faith must be activated. The Lord will not fail you, He loves you too much for that. "The steadfast love of the Lord never (ceases); his mercies never come to an end; they are (new) every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 Have you ever heard of a 'warranty' that runs out? This doesn't.
THE PROMISE A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come (near) you.... "Yet the Lord will command His loving kindness in the (daytime), And in the (night) His song will be with me, A (prayer) to the God of my (life)." Psalm 42:8 It's difficult to hate someone you're praying for and, it's difficult to pray for someone you hate.
So, what's the solution? Since the scriptures say: "Vengeance is mine, I will repay says the Lord." No matter who it is, or what they've done to you, pray not to hate, and for strength to forgive, and then... watch your life change. Don't focus on the person that makes things happen,
Instead, focus on the Maker of all things... "Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory..." (Ephesians 3:20) As a Tesla cannot benefit at a gas station because, the intake and the nozzle does not (line up).
So is it with your faith and your thoughts, your faith and the words you speak and your thoughts-what you think, must line up. If they do not, you will be unstable and unproductive. However, through prayer and reading the word you will be prosperous. "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.“ Proverbs 23:7 How do you protect someone you do not even like and won't even see all day?
Resist saying one (single) negative word about them. And if someone else says something bad about them, remain silent or walk away. The Lord will set His eye upon you, see your effort and bless you. "The merciful and generous man benefits his soul [for his behavior (returns) to bless him], (Proverbs 11:17) AMP Forgiving in its entirety, is not multiple choice.
We cannot (choose) who we decide to forgive depending on how we feel, or to the degree of how much we were hurt. When you forgive, your not saying that the wrong was not done but, that you (release) them to the Lord. This is to FREE you, not them. "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast (shut) thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which (seeth) in secret shall (reward) thee openly."
Mathew 6:6 If it still (shakes) you, then God is still making you.
But, do not fear, the Lord will see you through, not half the way, not most the way, but (all) the way. "But be ye (strong), and let not your hands be slack; for your work shall be (rewarded)." 2 chronicles 15:7 Don't ever allow doubt to come (between) you and the visions you have for yourself and your future. If they seem too big, then they're just your size. Just be sure the Lord is your MapQuest.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do,and he will establish your plans." Proverbs 16:3 Lord, help me to be humble, if someone tells me something for my own good, but (rubs) me the wrong way.
Help me humble myself and receive it and instead of letting it rub me the wrong way, let it be a spiritual massage....all over Lord....help me "(Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than (anyone) else on the face of the earth.)" Numbers 12:3 God's word is a lamp that shows us how to live and walk safely and secure; like a Spiritual compass.
His Word illuminates the path for each step and keeps us from missteps and wrong turns. Living without the Word of God is like trying to go somewhere you've never been without directions in the dark. "Your word is a lamp to my Feet and a (light) to my path." Psalm 119:105 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: "God, I thank you that I am not like (other) people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector."
I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ But the tax collector stood at a (distance). He would not even look (up) to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have (mercy) on me, a sinner.’ I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For (all) those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who (humble) themselves will be exalted.” Luke 18 James 3:16:
"For where envying and strife is, there is [confusion] and every evil work" Resist envy and strife against others. Even if they seem to be doing better than you, don't focus on them, so (you) yourselves do not fall to envy and strife. And if someone else is envying you, just pray that they learn not to hate the blessed, but, to Love the Blesser. Enduring' wealth - without confusion or struggles can ONLY be obtained from the Lord!
"The blessing of the Lord brings [true] riches, And He adds no sorrow to it [for it comes as a blessing from God]." Proverbs 10:22 When my kids were little they asked for bikes for Christmas. I put the bikes in the garage because that was a big blessing. Christmas morning, they went through all their presents but they noticed the bikes weren't there. But, they didn't say anything. They figured they didn't have them but, what they didn't know was I was holding out the BEST for last. finally I said "please go in the garage there's a blessing waiting for you (with your name on it) not only did I get them the bikes they wanted but, I got them the very best. Sometimes, when it appears God is not doing anything, He's actually waiting to give you the very BEST.
As you demonstrate your gratefulness for what you (do) have, your Heavenly Father will Joyfully give you what you didn't have, and much more. (Matthew 7:11) "So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" When your desires - line up with the Lord's desires in (both) 'words' and 'deeds'.
"Take delight in the Lord, and he will (give) you the (desires) of your heart. Commit your (way) to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous (reward) shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun." Be (still) before the Lord and wait (patiently) for him; Psalm 37 PraybigbelieveBigger.
"Therefore I tell you, (whatever) you (ask) for in prayer, (believe) that you (have) received it, and it (will) be yours. And (when) you [stand] praying, if you (hold) (anything) (against) [anyone], forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you (your) sins.” Mark 11:24-25 |
