God spoke to Moses face to face and considered him a friend because Moses was_______
1) The kindest man in his household 2) A man of Prayer 3) The meekest man on the earth 4) Patient with everyone and never lost his temper

"All the (ways) of a man are clean and innocent in his (own) eyes [and he may see nothing (wrong) with his actions],
But the Lord weighs and (examines) the motives and (intents) [of the (heart) and (knows) the truth]." Proverbs 16:2 Mentally and Emotionally, do not allow this Thursday to be like any other Thursday gone by.
For Every day, Every single day, God has a fresh Anointing on the Day and a great opportunity for you and He can change (turn) your situation around in a millisecond divided by two. "You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance." Selah Psalm 32:7 Cast (all) your (cares) upon Him, for He cares for you...
Just like when you invest in something, you don't visit once and then say well that's it. You continue to strategize, analyze and then reapply. This is the same when we go to the Lord in prayer, as long as it's still heavy on your heart, continue to go to Him. Be it wealth or health, give it to the Lord. Continue to pray, continue to trust, continue to ask. "Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Mathew 7:7 "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal.."
In regards to doubting, or feeling alone. You never know how much you can take, until God puts you in a (position) or situation to show you that you can take much more than you (thought) you could. And then you will be in the position where you will (see), He was (always) there., 2 Corinthians 10:4 Genuine...
Be yourself, if you water yourself down to please others or to fit in or not offend anyone you lose your (identity). It's much easier to love yourself when you are being yourself. when you want to (please) people you tell them what they want to hear, When you want to (help) people, you tell them the truth....you choose! Please read Proverbs 12:17 "Greater is He that is (within) me than he that is in the world?"
But why (within) me and not beside me or with me? There were several explorers that wanted to explore a particular sunken ship, the problem was no one could reach it because it was too deep, and the pressure was overwhelming. Finally, one scientist made it to the ocean floor and reached the ship. When asked how he accomplished this, he said, "I built a small vessel that could produce (more) pressure (internally) than the pressure produced (externally)." This is how the Lord works in our lives. He gives us (internal) strength to handle (any) external problem. He does not want us trying to do things in our own strength. As we pray for Strength, Guidance, Protection and Wisdom as you daily read the word, the Lord will (renew) your mind. He will strengthen your heart so you do not feel overwhelmed, alone or get discouraged or give up. The Lord will never give you more than you can handle but, He will give you more to handle, there's a difference. "I can do (all) this (through) him who (gives) me strength." Philippians 4 “Therefore confess your sins to (each) other and (pray) for (each) other so that (you) may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous person is (powerful) and effective.” James 5:16 NIV In every situation have Joy...
No matter what you are facing, believe that God's grace is sufficient to carry you through every challenge. Do not lose faith, for God will reach out his hand when you need him the (most). He loves you and will (lead) you out of the darkness into a (new) dawn of hope. God will carry you through (every) storm in your life and give you super natural strength and bless you with peace, joy and bring comfort to your heart, all this just because He loves you. A quick note: I must admit, it is quite evident that Matthew has a mental disability. However, I have rarely seen any man love the Lord as much as he does. He is always telling people about the Lord, how valuable they are and how much the Lord loves them.
PART II After praying, I told Matthew he needed to start looking for a place to live. After about a week Matthew, told me he found the perfect house. There were four other men sharing the house. He described the house in detail, even the picket fence that surrounded it. He was so excited. After about 2 days, Matthew said he was denied. Matthew was overwhelmed with disappointment. He said "The Lord knew how bad I wanted to live there. What's He doing? Why would He do that?" I Told Matthew, "There must be a reason the Lord closed that door and that he must put that behind him and keep searching. After about another week Matthew, said he found a place in Yucaipa california, I was so excited for him. Within a few months, I went to visit Matthew. When I arrived, Matthew was living in a two bedroom, two bath apartment, fully furnished, all on his own, without a single roommate. As I walked by his kitchen, I noticed Matthew had three checks on his counter. They were all lined up perfectly. I asked Matthew what they were for. Mathew said "One was for his rent, the other for his electric bill, and the third for another bill." He said, he had his checks lined up because he didn't want to be late, he wanted to pay all his bills on time. As we sat down to eat, and after we prayed and gave thanks. I said "Matthew, do you see what the Lord has done? He wanted you to be on your own and not live depending on other people, like you would have been in the house you wanted. According to all those who kicked you out, you're supposed to be homeless, they said you were retarded, and they said you would never make it on your own. Here you are in your own place, paying your own bills, not dependent on anyone. And would you like to know something else? The Lord was still not done yet. If that were not enough, in less than a year Mathew, purchased a Brand New SUV and bought it out-right with cash. This is the true story a friend of mine named Matthew. I first met Matthew when I was selected to minister at a halfway house for men. As I was walking through the property, someone told me "There's Matthew, he's retarded, he has the mind of a 12 year old. Matthew was 48 years old at the time. When I introduced myself, Matthew was drawing in a coloring book for kids. He said "Welcome Pastor, I'm Matthew, I have a brain disorder and I'm disabled. He was the sweetest kindest, gentle giant. Matthew called me one day very upset. He told me the Halfway house leadership was fed up with him and gave him 3 weeks to get out. They knew Matthew had a brain disability so they knew he would be homeless because he had nowhere else to go.
I told Matthew that the Lord would not abandon him and that we were going to take this to the Lord in prayer. As I got ready to pray, Matthew asked "are we going to pray now?" I replied "yes Matthew, we're going to pray." Matthew asked "Does the Lord know I only have 3 weeks?" I gently responded with a soft smile, "yes Mathew, He knows." End of PART 1 Psalm 34:17 "When the righteous cry for (help), the Lord hears and (delivers) them out of (all) their troubles." He who learns from instruction and correction is on the [right] path of life [and for others his (example) is a path toward wisdom and blessing],
But he who (ignores) and refuses (correction) goes (off) course [and for others his example is a path toward sin and ruin]... Proverbs 10:17 Watch yourselves, be on your guard, for satan will work you over like a rib with barbecue sauce if you're not careful and prayed up .
So, don't fall into his schemes, he'll build a story of lies and put it right in your mind or (someone else's), and without wisdom or (guidance) from the Lord, it will be difficult for you to decipher which is True or false. “Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but (inwardly) are ravenous wolves. By their (fruit) you will (recognize) them." Mathew 7:15-16 Isaiah 64:8: "But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand".
The prenup The parable of the man who felt he was ready to be used fully by the Lord. Ok Lord, I'm ready to be used fully for your purpose, send me. Just a few things I would like to cover, First, please don't send me anywhere where people don't like me, because I don't like people who don't like me. I believe that's in the Bible. Please ensure I have no difficulties or no problems whatsoever. Now you know I don't like the cold so please make sure to send me in spring or summer. Please ensure you tell everyone in advance to listen to everything I say cuz I don't have time for attitudes. Please send me after Christmas cuz I have many things to do. But, after that I'm all yours. Proverbs 19:11
"A person’s (insight) gives him patience, and his (virtue) is to (overlook) an offense." We can't always take things too seriously when others say things that are offensive but, they innocently didn't mean to be. Years ago, when I was still in the Marine Corps, there was a new Marine that joined my unit. The next day I noticed he looked stressed out. I asked him, "Are you ok Marine? He responded, "No sir, I'm stressed out because of you." I replied, "You haven't known me long enough for me to stress you out yet. What seems to be the problem I asked?" He replied, Because I don't know what to call you. I said "Excuse me." He said, "What do I call you sir? Do I call you black man, a colored man, or negro man. I said "Wow, I can see how that would stress you out. He said, "You see what I mean?" I said, "I do." So, I told him I had a solution, he said "Please tell it to me." I said, "You can call me 'Sean,' he said, Sean? I said yes Sean....my name." He said "Sean, hmm, I never thought of that." I said, do you feel the stress leaving you? I know I do. He said, "So, no black man, colored man or negro man? I said "no, that won't be necessary.....just Sean." This did not surprise me, I had a Marine when I was stationed in Brussels Belgium named OJ. OJ told me he had never actually seen a black person until he joined the Marine corps, except on TV. I asked OJ where he was raised and he said he was from a very small town in Iowa. I remember asking, "Then, if you've never seen a black person since you joined the Marine Corps, why aren't you prejudiced? OJ responded, "How do you know I'm not?" OJ was one of my best Marines, and he was fun to be around because he was extremely honest. We worked out frequently and we never brought the subject up again. L.A.R. Listen and Release Psalm 32:9, which says, "Do not be like the horse or the (mule), which have (no) understanding, which (must) be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you".
This verse encourages believers not to be (stubborn) and resistant to God's guidance, but to be willing to follow His direction willingly, foresaking all. So, handle your business regarding all secrets and (hidden) things and confess them to the Lord, so the Lord can bless you. "If I regard sin and baseness in my heart [that is, if I (know) it is there and do nothing about it], The Lord will not hear [me];" Psalm 66:18 Growing up, I used to lose my breath very easily and I would also faint a lot. I would just be playing outside with my other friends and I would lose consciousness and blackout.
Even just walking up steps, I was totally out of breath. I was told when I was a child, I was born with asthma or some type of breathing and brain deficiency. My mother told me by the time this was discovered, It was too late for them to operate on me, it was just too dangerous. My mother told me the Doctors told her, I would never live a normal life, that I would be on medication and be dependent on someone to take care of me for the rest of my life. My mother told me that the medications were so many and cost so much, she never bought them and never gave them to me. She told me, she believes this was the Lord protecting me. If that were not enough, they told my mother that I was very slow, close to being retarded. When I heard my teacher tell my mother this, I was about 8 years old. As I sat there listening quietly next to my mom, I told myself "I will study harder than any kid in any class for the rest of my life, but I refuse to accept this." I'm not going to lie, when all this hit me, I felt very alone. But, I learned how to pray as a child and I started reading my Bible in my room on my own, I didn't understand anything I read, but I kept reading. I can't explain it, I just felt God was with me, even though I couldn't hear Him, or see Him. Well, I did great in school, even though the other kids finished exams and lessons much sooner than I did. I didn't give up. Many times I was the last student to finish my exam but I still got my 'A'. I played sports and ran Cross Country and ran track, but it wasn't easy for me. When I was 15 years old, a man from my church named Don Knox, who was about 21 years old, told me to be ready very early Saturday morning because we were going on a bike ride. The bike ride was over 3 hours long. We finally made it to a park and I was so grateful so I could finally rest and catch my breath. Don told me that he had entered me in a race with the P.A.L. The Police Athletic League. Before I could say I was way too tired to run, Don told me that my race was getting ready to begin and I needed to get up to the starting line. Well, I did and I came in dead last. The second race, I came in last again. Frustrated, I told Don, "If you just put me in with my age group I can win, these kids are 3 years older than me." Don, just looked towards the track and said "Your next race is coming up, you better get ready." As I started this race, I said to myself "I might not win, but I'm not coming in last." so, I overtook the person ahead of me. Then I said "I can at least take one more." After getting ahead of him, I said I can definitely take at least one more. Eventually, I found myself behind the lead runner, I said to myself "I can take him, I know I can. I ran with everything I had, breathing super heavy, drawing breath whenever I could, but I did not give up. When I crossed the finish line, they were all behind me. I beat him, I beat all of them and I won the race. I couldn't believe it! I walked over to Don and said "Did you see that Don? Did you see? I won, even though those other kids were older than me." As if I said nothing at all, Don said "You better get on your bike Sean, we have a long ride home." End of Part 1 "Pay attention and turn your (ear) to the sayings of the wise;
apply your heart to what I teach, for it is pleasing when you (keep) them in your (heart) and have all of them (ready) on your (lips). So that your trust may be in the Lord, I teach you today, even you. teaching you to be (honest) and to [speak] the (truth), so that you bring back truthful (reports) to those you serve?" Proverbs 22 Persecution can cause either (growth) or (bitterness) in a Christian's life. Response
determines the result. "Dear friends, do not be (surprised) at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to (test) you, as though something (strange) were happening to you. So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should (commit) themselves to their (faithful) Creator and (continue) to do good." 1 Peter 4:12-19 !Psalm 118:24:
"This is the day the LORD has made; let us (rejoice) and be glad in it." You've all heard this verse many times, but, I would like you to notice something. Rejoicing comes (before) gladness. So please remember, rejoicing does not necessarily come with feelings first - it comes in what you (personally) know and have experienced in the Lord's goodness for you and His Favor and His great Love and Compassion He has showered over you, over and over and over again, and still going. I pray that the Lord's peace lay upon you as He leads you in steps of protection and guides your every thought towards his grace of perfection. I love you all Psalm 118:24:
"This is the day the LORD has made; let us (rejoice) and be glad in it." You've all heard this verse many times, but, I would like you to notice something. Rejoicing comes (before) gladness. So please remember, rejoicing does not necessarily come with feelings first - it comes in what you (personally) know and have experienced in the Lord's goodness for you and His Favor and His great Love and Compassion He has showered over you, over and over and over again, and still going. I pray that the Lord's peace lay upon you as He leads you in steps of protection and guides your every thought towards his grace of perfection. I love you all "Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.
[Let My perfect peace (calm) you in (every) circumstance and give you (courage) and strength for (every) challenge.]" John 14:27 AMP Have you ever heard the term... 'prying into someone else's business?'
I want you to think of 'pride' this way. Pride is always attempting to get into your business. Because, pride is extremely sneaky and silent. Ask the Holy Spirit to keep you in complete awareness at all times throughout your day - so that you will remain humble and (effective) at (every) level. 1 John 2:16 "For all that is (in) the world—the desires of the (flesh) and the desires of the (eyes) and (pride) of life—is not from the Father but is from the world." I love you all "And my God will meet (all) your needs according to the riches of (his) glory in Christ Jesus."
Notice the word (all) our needs will be met. These are not just physical needs, but these are emotional and heartfelt needs as well. So many people turn to (other) things for comfort and safety but, the only 'One' that can give you complete comfort that lasts and fits your specific needs, is the Lord. "Do not be anxious about (anything), but in (every) situation, by [prayer] and [petition], with [thanksgiving], present your (requests) to God. Philippians 4:6 & 19 I love you all Memory verse for today... Psalm 91:14-16 The enemy you have attained off the witness of another.
When someone approaches you speaking bad about another, instead of responding, "That situation is between the two of you, alone." [Mathew 18:15] You come in (agreement) with them, just from what they told you. So, the conclusion of the matter is this, (Guard your heart) if someone is speaking against (anyone) and at the end, they do not suggest prayer, do (not) participate, no matter how juicy and interesting it may sound. Do not stay, go on your way, and the Lord will be pleased and reward you for your actions. Proverbs 4:23, which says, "Above (all) else, (guard) your heart, for (everything) you do (flows) from it". |
