1 John 3

​'Lavished' is the past tense (or past participle) of the verb lavish. 

It means to give, bestow, or (shower) something—like love, attention, gifts, or praise—upon someone in great, often (excessive) amounts.


"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"
