Colossians 3:9

​"Do not lie to one (another), since you have (put off) the old self with its (practices)." 
The dynamic Power of being truthful.
A man got pulled over by a highway patrol officer.
 The officer asked the driver if he knew why he pulled him over?
He responded, "I absolutely know why you pulled me over.
The driver went on to say, "I was speeding and I was going well over the speed limit and there's no excuse, and I'll pay whatever ticket you give me.
The Officer looked at him and said 'have a good day.' 
With a confused look on his face the driver asked, "aren't you going to give me a ticket?
The officer responded "No I'm not."
"Most people would have lied to me but, you were completely honest. Just slow down next time."
The driver replied, "I have to be truthful sir, I teach my very own kids to be honest, what kind of example am I giving, if I lied to you."
This being said, please remember, a lie will (always) come back to haunt you. But the truth (stands) its ground.
