​ Quick to listen and slow to speak - does not only refer to others but, in your prayer time with the Lord. 

When the Lord tells us to do something, and then we gladly jump to it and then fail. We return to the Lord and ask what happened? The Lord says yes, I did tell you to go but, you moved too quickly. If you stayed and continued to listen, I wanted you to go next month, not the next (day). 

Remain in His presence and walk securely.
