Philippians 4:6-7

5/21/2026

On my way to work, when I was living in San diego, I was listening to a live radio station and the woman called and they asked how could they help her and the woman said "I received the Lord as my personal Savior 3 weeks ago."

The two pastors on the radio said CONGRATULATIONS!

The woman angrily replied, "don't congratulate me, before I gave my life to the Lord, my life was just fine, as soon as I gave my life to the Lord, all kinds of problems started happening to me.

After a short pause, the Pastor asked, "okay, ma'am, so how can we help you? She responded, "how can I give it back!" The pastor asked, "how do you give what back?

I want to give my salvation back, I want my life normal like it was before. The pastor thought for a while and said "we've never had this question before." The pastor replied and said, ma'am, you can't really give Salvation back" so the woman responded "oh, so I'm stuck with this?" The pastor said "We don't like to think of it as you being stuck.

The woman said "Thanks a lot for nothing" and hung up the phone.

Giving this some thought, the woman who had the problems, missed one major Factor, she now had the Lord to back her and protect her.

One of the reasons we have problems when the Lord allows them, when becoming new Christian is because the Lord wants us to start depending on His strength and not our (own), to lean in on Him, with complete confidence, and trust, not relying on anything of our own wisdom, this is actually a blessing and not a curse.

Philippians 4:6-7
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds (through) Christ Jesus."

I love you all
